Kua Number Calculator
Your Kua number determines your four favorable and four unfavorable compass directions under the Eight Mansions system. Unlike most online calculators, this one handles the solar-calendar boundary (Li Chun, in early February) correctly — the edge that January and early-February birthdays usually get wrong elsewhere.

Why the February boundary matters
The Kua formula uses the Chinese solar year, which begins at Li Chun (立春) — around February 4 — not on January 1, and not at Lunar New Year. If you were born in January or very early February, your Kua is calculated from the previous year. Most free calculators skip this, which is why two tools can give you two different numbers. Ours computes the actual Li Chun date for your birth year.
