Facing Direction Calculator

Classical analysis divides the compass into twenty-four “mountains” of 15° each. Enter the degree reading from your front door — taken per our compass guide — and see which mountain your home faces, which trigram house it is, and whether your reading needs a more careful measurement.

Why 15° matters so much

Two houses on the same street, facing 172° and 184°, both “face south” — but they fall in different mountains (Wu and Ding), and in Flying Star method they receive different charts and different advice. This is the structural reason classical consultations begin with a measured reading instead of a glance at a map, and why we ask every client for three readings taken at the front door.
