Free tools
Useful before paid
Seven free tools built on the same classical tables we use in consultations — no sign-up, no email gate, results in under a second, all calculated in your browser. They exist to be genuinely useful; if one of them answers your whole question, that is a good outcome.
Flying Star Chart Calculator
The serious one: cast your home’s actual natal chart — nine palaces, mountain and water stars — from its facing and period.
Open →Kua Number Calculator
Your personal East/West group and four favorable directions — with the February solar boundary handled correctly.
Open →Chinese Zodiac & Birth Element
Your true year sign and its element — Fire Horse, Metal Dragon — from the classical Li Chun boundary, not January 1.
Open →Facing Direction Calculator
Turn your compass reading into your home’s mountain (of the 24), its house type, and a boundary check.
Open →Feng Shui Ruler (Luban)
Check any door, desk, or furniture dimension against the carpenter’s ruler — in inches or centimeters.
Open →2026 Flying Stars Chart
This year’s chart palace by palace, and the two sectors you should not renovate in 2026.
Open →Compass Reading Guide
How to measure your facing direction with a phone, accurately enough for a real analysis.
Open →Why we publish accurate tools for free
Two reasons, stated plainly. First, most free feng shui calculators in English are wrong at the edges — they ignore the Li Chun boundary, so everyone born in January gets a wrong Kua and a wrong zodiac sign. Publishing correct ones is the cheapest possible demonstration of how we work. Second, the tools answer the general question; consultations answer yours. A Kua number is universal; what it means in your floor plan is not. People who feel that difference become clients without being pushed.
